- Roland recommends: Boeshield T-9 for oiling your chain but maintains 🙂 that it doesn’t matter as long as you dry your chain, clean it and re-lube after every rainy bicycle ride. Keeping the chain lubricated after every rainy ride matters more than the actual oil you use. If you ride 5 or more days a week, and it is dry, then lube weekly. If you ride less, and it is dry, then once a month is fine.
- Wikipedia: The Freehub has the bearing in the rear wheel that failed for Dale. Roland: I’ve never had a rear hub bearing fail so it’s weird for me. Perhaps some sort of Rad design flaw?
- Vintage Iron Cycles where Dale got his Rad Power bicycle seized rear wheel bearing fixed. Roland: I had no idea they service bicycles. I just thought they sold bicycles.
